New KTA 1401 certificate
Following a subsequent evaluation on January 16, 2018 by AREVA NP at the request of the ‚VGB- Arbeitsgemeinschaft on behalf of EnBW Kernkraftwerk GmbH‘ Pipe Support Systems GmbH International GmbH International was recently awarded the`Certification of Quality Assurance´ based on regulation KTA 1401 and IAEA 50-C-Q. This certificate is valid until January 23, 2021.
Together with the TÜV-CERT issued according to DIN EN ISO 9001 by TÜV Saarland e.V. on January 31, 2001, this is an additional confirmation of `meeting the requirements for sales, manufacture and service of supports and suspension parts for the construction of nuclear power plants´. This approval according to KTA 1401 is the necessary qualification for production of `standard pipe supports´ in accordance with KTA 3205.3.
A copy of this assessment has been forwarded to the working committee for contractor evaluation of VGB PowerTech e.V.. Receipt of this certificate allows continuation of a tradition started in the middle of the eighties, whereby the production facilities in Neunkirchen serve as a qualified supplier for components according to the KWU catalogue of pipe supports.
